Flue is built to leave you alone. There are no accounts, no logins, and nothing about you is sent to a server. This policy explains what that means in practice.
Flue (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is developed and operated by Digitly Media Kft., a company registered in Hungary. If you have any question about this policy or your privacy, you can reach us at hello@flue.app.
To work the way it does, Flue saves a small amount of information locally on your phone:
This information never leaves your device. We can’t see it, and we have no way to access it. It is not backed up to us in any form. If you use your phone’s own iCloud backup, that data may be included in the backup managed by Apple under Apple’s terms — not ours.
If you turn on reminders, Flue schedules them locally on your device. We do not run a server that sends you messages and we do not see when or whether a notification is delivered. You can change the window and frequency inside the app, or switch notifications off entirely in your phone’s Settings at any time.
Flue is distributed through Apple’s App Store. When you download the app or make a purchase, Apple processes that transaction and may collect related information under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We receive only aggregated, anonymised sales and download statistics from Apple, which cannot be used to identify you.
Flue is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children. Because the app collects no personal information at all, no special data handling for children is required.
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have rights to access, correct, and erase personal data held about you. Since Flue holds no personal data about you on our side, there is nothing for us to retrieve or delete. You remain fully in control of the information stored on your device: removing it is as simple as deleting the app.
If we ever change how Flue handles information, we’ll update this page and revise the date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app.
